Privacy and Cookies Document

Island City and its affiliates (collectively, “Island City,” “we,” “us,” “our”, or “other”) respect your concerns about personal data protection and value our relationship with you. Privacy and Cookies Document applies solely to personal data collected through Island City’s web site(s), web pages, interactive features, applications, blogs and their respective contents in addition to our Twitter, Facebook or other social networking sites, and their respective contents (collectively or independent, the “Sites”), whether accessed via computer, mobile device, technology or other device (collectively or independent, “Device”).

Privacy and Cookies Document describes the types of personal data we collect through the Sites and how that personal data may be used and/or with whom it may be shared. Please read this Privacy and Cookies Document carefully, because by using the Sites you are acknowledging that you understand and agree to the terms of this Privacy and Cookies Document.

I. Cookies

Like many companies, Island City uses “cookies” and similar tools on the Sites to improve their performance.

A. What are Cookies?

A cookie is a small text file which is placed on your Device. Cookies help to analyze web traffic and allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences. Certain cookies may contain personal data, for example, if you click to “remember me” in the “likes category” when logging in, a cookie may store your username or attached via log in. B. What do we use Cookies for?

Island City may place cookies or similar files on your Device for security purposes, to tell us whether you have visited the Sites before, if you are a new visitor or to otherwise facilitate site navigation, and to personalize your experience while visiting our Sites. Cookies allow us to collect technical and navigational information, such as browser type, time spent on our Sites and pages visited. C. What kinds of Cookies do we use?

Generally, the cookies that are used on the Sites can be broken down in to the following categories:

1. Session Cookies

These cookies are used 'in-session' each time you visit and then expire when you leave a Site or shortly thereafter, these are not stored on your Device permanently, do not contain any personal data and help by minimizing the need to transfer personal data across the internet.

2. Tracking Cookies

These cookies enable us to recognize repeat visitors to our Sites. By matching an anonymous, randomly generated identifier, a tracking cookie keeps track of where a user of our Sites came from, what search engine was used, keyword (s) were used and the accessed point from within the world.

3. Persistent Cookies

This type of cookie is saved on your Device for a fixed period (sometimes for a few hours, or for a month or longer) and is not deleted when the browser is closed. Persistent cookies are used where we need to remember who you are for more than one browsing session. For example, this type of cookie can be used to store your preferences, such as a store or brand name, so that they are remembered for the next visit to a Site. At this time, we do not have an active store on our site and do not fore see a use at this time for one, this explanation is for the benefit of user.

4. Performance Cookies

Performance cookies are used to analyze how the Sites are used and to monitor their performance, which allows us to improve your experience in using the Sites. These cookies help us to tailor the content of the Sites to reflect what the Site users find most interesting and to identify when technical issues with the Sites arise.

II. Privacy Policy

A. INFORMATION COLLECTED ON OUR SITES

1. Information You Provide To Us

You can visit the Sites without providing personal data, unless otherwise mentioned in the Sites themselves. However, there may be circumstances when you may be asked or choose to provide personal data of a phone number or company name which is required for forwarding information back to you. Since we do not have or support an active online store, we will never ask for home address, credit card information or any financial information of you.

2. Data Collected by Automated Means

Whenever you visit or interact with the Sites, Island City may use a variety of technologies that automatically or passively collect information about how the Sites are accessed and used (“usage data”). Usage data may include, in part, browser type, operating system, the page served, the time, how many users visited the Sites, and the page views. Usage data is statistical data which provides us with information about the use of the Sites, such as how many visitors visit a specific page on the Sites, how long they stay on that page, and which hyperlinks, if any, they “click” on.

Island City might also automatically collect your IP address or other unique identifier (“Device Identifier”) for the Device. A Device Identifier is a number that is automatically assigned to your Device when you access a web site or its servers, and our computers identify your Device by its Device Identifier. When you visit the Sites, we may view your Device Identifier. We use this data to determine the general physical location of your Device and understand from what regions of the world the visitors to the Sites come from. We also may use this data to enhance the Sites.

The technologies used on the Sites to collect usage data, including Device Identifiers, may include cookies.

B. HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION COLLECTED

Island City uses the personal data and usage data we collect through the Sites for a variety of business purposes, including, respond to your questions and requests or provide updated information in key areas of interest such as data or drawings.

C. INFORMATION WE SHARE

We will not provide any of your personal data to any third parties unless you have requested information through a distributor or distributor network on behalf of Island Cities product or inquire.

D. INFORMATION WE RECEIVE FROM THIRD PARTIES

Island City may receive your personal data or usage data from third parties. For example, if you are on another web site and you opt-in to receive personal data from Island City that web site will forward to us your e-mail address and other personal data about you so that we may contact you as requested. You may also choose to participate in a third party application or feature such as one of our Facebook or Twitter pages or a similar application or feature on a third party web site through which you allow us to collect and share (or the third party to collect and share) information about you, including personal data.

We may also supplement the personal data we collect about you through the Sites with other data from third parties in order to enhance our ability to serve you, to tailor our content to you and to offer you opportunities to purchase products or services that we believe may be of interest to you. We may combine the personal data we receive from these third parties with data we collect through the Sites. In those cases, we will apply this Privacy Policy to any personal data received, unless we have disclosed otherwise.

E. YOUR ACCESS AND CHOICES

F. ADVERTISING; HOW TO OPT-OUT

Island City licenses technology to serve advertisements on other Sites and within its content as that content is served across the Internet. In addition, Island City may use third party network advertisers to serve advertisements and third party analytics vendors to evaluate and provide us with information about the use of the Sites and viewing of our content. We do not share personal data with these third parties, but ad network providers, the advertisers, the sponsors, and/or analytics service providers may set and access their own cookies, pixel tags and similar technologies on your Device and they may otherwise collect or have access to data about you, including usage data.

G. LINKS TO OTHER SITES

The Sites may provide links to other websites that we do not own or operate. This includes links from advertisers, sponsors and partners that may use our logo(s) as part of a co-branding agreement. To the extent that any linked websites are not part of the Island City Sites, we do not control, recommend or endorse and are not responsible for these websites or their content, products, services or privacy policies or practices. These other websites may send their own cookies to your Device, they may independently collect data or solicit personal data and may or may not have their own privacy policies. You should also independently assess the authenticity of any website which appears or claims that it is one of our Sites (including those linked to through an email or social networking page).

H. HOW WE PROTECT PERSONAL DATA

We maintain certain administrative, technical and physical safeguards to help protect against loss, misuse or unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction of your personal data.

I. CONSENT TO PROCESSING AND TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

Given that Island City includes entities located all over the World, processing your personal data and usage data necessarily involves the transmission of data on an international basis. If you are located in the European Union, Canada or elsewhere outside of the United States please be aware that personal data and usage data we collect may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Sites, or providing us with any personal data, you consent to the collection, processing, maintenance and transfer of such personal data and usage data to Island City affiliated entities in the United States or in other countries, save their compliance with the applicable personal data protection laws.

J. UPDATES TO OUR PRIVACY and COOKIES DOCUMENT

This Privacy and Cookie Document and other personal data on the Sites may be updated periodically and without prior notice to you, and any changes will be effective immediately upon the posting.
